I want to be rooted deeper in Him. I want to give Him all of me. And I need to live a life that reflects Him more. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To quote from DC Talks &#8216;Day by Day&#8217; (from Jesus Freak)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>&#8220;Day by day<br>\nThree things I pray-<br>\nLove Thee more dearly<br>\nSee Thee more clearly<br>\nFollow Thee more nearly&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Well I still have a long way to go in my rather wobbly walk with Christ. I still give in often to Satan&#8217;s treacherous temptations. I wonder if I am taking God&#8217;s priceless gift of forgiveness for granted!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The words of the song &#8216;In The Light&#8217; by DC Talk reflect my feelings and desires.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>&#8220;The disease of self runs through my blood<br>\nIt&#8217;s a cancer fatal to my soul.<br>\nEvery attempt on my behalf has failed<br>\nTo bring this sickness under control.<br>\nWhat&#8217;s going on inside me?<br>\nI despise my own behavior.<br>\nThis only serves to confirm my suspicions<br>\nThat I&#8217;m still a man in need of a Savior.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>I wanna be in the light<br>\nAs You are in the light.<br>\nI wanna shine like the stars in the Heavens.<br>\nOh Lord be my guide<br>\nAnd my salvation.<br>\n&#8216;Cos all I wanna be is in the Light!&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What do I strive to be?
