At church each of get a card with a verse each for a Command for the Year and a Promise.
Although they seem quite random, I prayed about it before picking up my card and these are the verses I got.
Promise:
Mark 9:23
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Command
Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.
I pray that I will hold on to that promise and fulfil that command this year and also for the rest of my life.
