I wont get into the intricate details, but today my bathroom was finally fixed and cleaned. Er… it’s not exactly the most cared place where I stay. The flush was slightly blocked, the sink discolored and quite a bit of cobwebs around. The mirror had become non-reflecting and the frame actually broke a few days ago. I actually just wanted to fix the mirror and had left a “Job Request” at the MIQ reception. One thing led to another and soon the plumber was there and deftly inserted a broom stick into some part of the flush tubing and water flowed in quite fast. I had a new mirror fixed and a cleaner came up to clean up the whole bathroom while I simply surfed the net etc. One hour and it was amazing! Lol… so much for the simple joys in life.

What had happened in my bathroom was a slow accumulation of dirt and muck that slowly blocked pipes, left stains, and actually made it dirty. It wasnt an abrupt change. I didnt even notice how dirty it was. Life is like that – many times we compromise, drift away and fall to temptation very slowly. A little change, a little change everyday and before long we are miles away from God’s will without even realising it. Till someone walks in and tells us how dirty it actually has got! The only way to keep on the right track is to meditate on His word daily and clean up everyday and take care of small problems right away before they become out of control.
That’s my lesson learnt.
And no…. I’m not gonna post a photo of my bathroom before and after cleaning – don’t even THINK about it.

Push-up update
I did 23 pushups today. Cool. That’s one more than yesterday! In another one month I’ll be reaching 50 at this rate! Yeah!!!
BTW, my muscles are already objecting to this unusual strain!
