My Altec Lansing speakers had conked out a few weeks ago and I had to lug it with me to Chennai to get it to the service center. Appa and I located the center and gave in the speakers for repair and we also managed to locate a DTP center to type out one of the tamil songs we were gonna use for the Engagement. A cuppa coffee later my speakers were repaired and as good as new (hopefully!!)I spoke to Becky about the quickest route to get there and my dad then dropped me off at Mount Road and went home. I’d come back to Vellore last night to attend the Church Retreat today. I woke up sleepily and soon Koshi & I scooted off in an auto to church (chomping bread) and loaded lots of stuff into the big bus and then, after stopping off at the hospital and college campuses, a loaded bus along with a line of cars twisted around narrow paths to PRAVAHAM – a quiet Retreat Center. With such a looong gap for my practical exams I decided to get back to work. Felt a little different getting back inside nursery. I did nothing much except attend rounds. I then scooted off to pick up my official notice about the exam dates and also get my Log Book.My exam dates are actually th 13th of October. I couldn’t join the Worship Team today because of my exams. Barney was the wroship leader. It was the first time he was doing it and he was backed up by Kenny, the VIT guys and Jyothi. I like then guy! He added so much depth to the songs we sang. I can see a pssion in him when he leads. I’m glad he’ll be around for a few more years at CMC and will lead worship more often.A few of us who usually lead worship will be leaving shortly and we need more new people.Enjoyed church…. as usual!
